With over 20 years of experience creating visual effects for Hollywood blockbusters and video games, I’ve honed my skills as a jack-of-all-trades, solving production challenges across the entire pipeline. My expertise encompasses everything from programming and pipeline optimization to workflows that span modeling, rigging, animation, materials, shaders, lighting, effects, and rigid bodies.

I focus on building robust systems that empower teams to achieve their creative and technical goals. I specialize in orchestrating the use of multiple DCCs such as Houdini, Max, Maya, and Blender, ensuring that the pipeline flows smoothly across departments. While my role is primarily technical leadership, I’m never afraid to get my hands dirty—whether improving code or jumping in to help create assets when needed.

I collaborate closely with upper management to develop strategic roadmaps, assess risk, break down complex development problems into manageable tasks, and build teams with the right expertise. My leadership is built around fostering cross-department collaboration and leveraging each individual's strengths to overcome production bottlenecks and push creative boundaries.

Mentorship is a cornerstone of my approach. I guide mid-level artists, leads, and principals to grow professionally while supporting their contributions to the company. My core philosophy revolves around people. I believe that building trust-based relationships and valuing diverse experiences leads to stronger teams and a positive work culture that benefits stakeholders and gamers alike.
